So, things changed right before our trip, and needed more room in bathroom. Asked for room change and they accommodated us and things were better after change. Plus we love the local food options from Hawaii.

The employee that checked us in was really nice. The lady that "helped" us when the room key stopped working was really unpleasant. The hawaiian restaurant was the best part! The window and the door to the room had fingerprints and faceprints gross!

i've stayed at the California many, many times over 30 plus years i've been visiting las vegas. they are constantly upgrading the hotel. it has a very small town feel where you feel welcome, and not at a big corporation hotel.

The location was not too far from anything we wanted to do and suited us well. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and was fairly priced. The room we received was both clean and spacious. I would definitely stay there again.

Location. Next to Fremont Street but not on it, much quieter to sleep. Easy access. Walking distance to several good places to eat. Staff was friendly, reasonable price, no parking fee for hotel guest.
